In today's world, are we a "faith" (religious organization based on 7 religious principles) or are we the "Anti-racism anti-homophobia anti-transphobia chowder, coffee, and marching society (CC&MS)"? It appears more and more that we are the second. People appear to be defining UUism as an activist social group that runs marches rather than a religion. It's unfortunate, but that will soon lead to our demise.

To be a little more expansive, if we are a religion, people come for the religious aspect and do the social justice work. If we are a CC&MS, people come for the activism, and stay around occasionally for the potlucks and the coffee hour.

I am a member of a small UU church which is between a fellowship and ministry-led. I am getting more and more concerned about the UU "leadership" and their craven cowardice in the face of bullying from SJWs (social justice warriors, who are bullies who use morality clubs to gain power over others). The recent apologies about the transgender story and about the intersectionality issue at the Midwest meeting are just close to the last straw for myself and my wife. So, here are a couple questions:

1. Are you happy with the sole focus of UU on anti-racism?
2. Do you have a problem with SJWs in your congregation?
3. Do you know some who have left UU for this reason? I know a number myself.
