They are! When my husband died I didn't know where to find an atheist service. Our hospice volunteer put me in touch with a Unitarian Universalist minister who did a wonderful memorial service—now I know it was just a typical UU service: a few tears, lots of laughter and no gods.

As a Jewish atheist Unitarian Universalist, I am both terrified and revolted on several levels by the idea of living in a Christian theocracy. Which is why I've been hesitant about impeachment – a President Pence would be almost as dangerous. (It's the "almost" that counts, tho.)

Oh no! I belong to a Unitarian Universalist church, so concern for the environment is very high. We keep trying to use washables for coffee hour and potlucks, but sometimes it's hard to find enough clean-up folks, but at least we recycle what we can.

@1a A lovely vegan couple left our very progressive Unitarian Universalist congregation – which they had loved – because they were unable to get the church leadership to strongly promote veganism. We deeply miss these wonderful people, but not their nagging.

Thank you—yes, it is! Studies have proved that singing with a group is therapeutic. I work hard every week, yet go home feeling energized! I sing at my Unitarian Universalist church; we have about 50 singers & a wonderful choir director. It's really a second family.
