I was close to a founding member of the UniUnis. Started attending Sunday school around age 9 or 10 (1964) and continued for a decade or so after that (an official graduate of About Your Sexuality, with a genuine BS ('Boucher Sexuality) degree).
I've noticed a disturbing (to me) trend to give Unitarian Universalism a dogmatic face over the decades, with people quoting "The Principles" as though they were a doctrine that one must adhere to, and being told that "I just don't get the Unitarian Universalist Way™" by the local Church secretary (the pastor, an old friend, had a huge belly laugh about that one when I told him).
.
Does anyone else get where I am coming from here?
