Are you planning on answering any questions. The botometer raises some concerns. https://botometer.iuni.iu.edu/#!/?sn=UUResistance …

I hope we'll be hearing more from them on what brings this about. Individual or organizational backing? Group or movement?
The @UUA needs the @8thPrincipleUU if we want to demonstrate genuine moral leadership in the face of #WhiteSupremacy. #UU #UUTwitter #WhiteNationalism #WhiteSupremacistTerrorism cc: @BlackLivesUU pic.twitter.com/1hlxw3jMFM
So maybe I'll use both this Sunday. @SummitBeacon did you see this?
I suppose I could join this 'official' UU Lent activity late and in addition to my lectionary series. Hmm....
I like UUSunday, but I wonder if UUTwitter could be used every day + Sunday. I've noticed occasionally the UU hashtag on my feed in Tweetdeck used for tweets that are unrelated, often in other languages.
@uuplanet are we doing #UUTwitter or #UUSunday tomorrow, and can the former be used for more general #UU tagging outside of Sundays?
I'm doing my own UU Lenten thing, but hope they do this again next year so I can blog along to it instead. Here's the category page, and the second post will be up tomorrow (Sunday). https://www.icarusinvict.us/blog-1/categories/uu-lenten-lectionary-2019 …
I had to let @SummitUU know. Good to experiment.
It's perfectly legal for churches to discuss political issues within the context of their beliefs. Southern Baptists about abortion, Unitarian Universalist about lgbtq rights, etc. What is illegal is overtly supporting one candidate or party over another. It makes a difference.
I facilitated part 1 of a conversation about death for our 6th/7th grade RE last week, so I'm going to sit in on part 2 this week to provide a sense of continuity.

It arrives Saturday. And I review virtually everything I read on my blog.
I already was following her, and this sort of thing is right up my alley, so I have no idea how I missed her book until now. Just ordered a copy.
@uuplanet really wasn't fishing for an RT but appreciate it!

If anything, I would agree that his failure to fully recognize Jesus as a full Person of the one triune being is deeply problematic in terms of what's considered orthodoxy. Then again, what do I know? I'm a Unitarian Universalist and a Humanist.
My 6th/7th grade RE group made 'travel chalices' out of Altoid boxes last week. It was fun.
This is true. I left the Roman Catholic Church when I was 17 and spent 2 decades as an evangelical, during which time I was ordained and served as a missionary and minister. I'm now a Humanist and Unitarian Universalist. Yet, somehow, I'm still Catholic? https://www.washingtonpost.com/religion/2018/10/22/want-leave-catholic-church-officially-you-cant/ …
