We are now in a time of national reckoning. This is some measure of accountability but not true justice. True justice would be for Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd to be alive today. We hold their memory and their families in deep care. Our Unitarian Universalist faith compels us to speak the names of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery in remembrance of their lives and recognize every Black person who has been harassed, assaulted, or murdered by police.
We must continue to work in solidarity with the Black leaders and organizers who have long been fighting for justice. #justiceforgeorgefloyd #blacklivesmatter
