Kit Ketcham, June 15, 2022 On Fathers’ Day and Mothers’ Day, we honor the parents who gave us life, whether those parents are our kin by blood, by adoption, by marriage, by affinity, such as a favored teacher, or by preference for a beloved adult. When my son was a toddler, he received child care from a family in our church, Jefferson Unitarian Church in Golden, Colorado.
